Beaver Dam Area Giving 100

Beaver Dam Area Giving 100 brings together community-minded people who want to make a real difference for local nonprofits, without a large time or financial commitment. Four times a year, members gather, hear from three local nonprofits, and vote on which project their pooled gifts will fund.

Fondy 100 Gives members listening to a local nonprofit's presentation at a quarterly meeting

The program is part of the Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation, a regional affiliate of the Fond du Lac Area Foundation serving Dodge County. Whether you would like to join as a member or your nonprofit would like to apply for a grant, we’d be happy to help you get started.

How a Beaver Dam Area Giving 100event works

  • Arrive and connect. Meetings are hosted at unique and interesting locations, some not typically open to the public, and begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. Members are welcome to arrive on time, purchase a beverage if one is available, and spend time with fellow members.
  • Hear from a guest speaker. Each meeting features a guest speaker who gives a brief presentation to engage, inform, and energize the group.
  • Hear from local nonprofits. Representatives from three local nonprofit organizations each present a community project. Each nonprofit has five minutes to present, followed by five minutes for members’ questions.
  • Cast your vote. After the presentations, members vote anonymously for the project they would most like to see funded. Each member receives a token at registration and places it in the bucket for their chosen project.
  • Announce the grant recipient. The project with the most votes is announced right after the vote. The vote totals are not disclosed.
